ECR announces further wins with BUPA and TransPennine Express

London-based MPoS specialist ECR Retail Systems, has announced today the successful deployment of its latest system for new clients BUPA, at their prestigious retirement village in Witney.

This win follows more good news, with the recent contract with Rail Gourmet that will see ECR provide their latest onboard MPOS system to TransPennine Express for deployment across the TPE network with routes covering the north of England and into Scotland.

The automated payment systems will serve customers buying food and drink and are designed to accept cash, card, contactless, mobile wallet and voucher payments.

The web-enabled solution is fully PCI compliant giving the added reassurance of secure transactions.

The system links into a head office system, allowing real-time tracking of sales and stock data, as well as total management of additional features notably exchange rates between euro and sterling.

Simon Pont, CEO, ECR Retail Systems, said: “Both BUPA and Rail Gourmet were in need of an automated point-of-sale system that could be adapted to exactly match with their individual needs. Both clients were impressed by the flexibility and reliability of our systems along with further benefits including stock-management. We are now delighted to be providing these solutions that aim to exceed expectations.”
