ECR Expands Technical Team With Two New Appointments

ECR is delighted to announce that Jeff Lappin and Guillaume Woo have joined the business as a Development Project Manager and a Specialist Software Engineer, respectively, as the company continues to expand internationally.

In his new role, Jeff will be responsible for ensuring client projects are delivered on time and within budget, with a specific focus on the airline sector, as ECR continues to grow its AirPoS offering, which was launched to the market last year. In his technical role, Guillaume will be working with internal teams across ECR’s growing client base, covering developing, testing and reporting. His role will help to ensure that client needs are translated into optimum software solutions, tailored to each specific requirement.

Jeff joins the business from an onboard retail specialist, where he was responsible for implementing bespoke tailored made terminals for onboard duty free sales. These were successfully supplied to a number of flag and low cost carriers around the globe.

Guillaume joins ECR from retail software specialists Retail Assist, where he was responsible for data flow, database and software support. Both bring with them an excellent range of technical expertise, crucial to driving the business forward and further strengthen ECR’s technical capacity in its key sectors.

The appointments follow successful new business wins both in the UK and internationally, as well as the planned expansion of Ticket Kiosk, ECR’s unique and industry-leading on-street ticketing solution, based in Paris.

Jeff Lappin

Simon Pont, CEO, said: “Both Jeff and Guillaume’s appointments mark another important step forward for the business as growing demands are placed on our technical teams from expanding client base. All of our software is developed in-house, so precise understanding of our clients’ business is essential to developing systems that truly deliver.”

Jeff Lappin added: “ECR is a company dedicated to exploring new technologies and innovations, a philosophy that reflects my own personal goals and interests. I am also delighted to be able to apply direct industry experience to the airline sector, while having the chance to expand my knowledge as part of such a specialist team.”
