Ticket Cab Now Open To New Drivers

ECR Retail Systems have today announced an opening for 100 new drivers to take TicketCab – the mobile ticketing system that helps drivers generate much welcomed additional earnings.

Following a highly successful pilot this summer, the software is now ready to deploy in force across London’s black cabs.

TicketCab provides cabbies with handheld devices operating a unique visitor attraction ticketing system. The machines take payments and print official, branded tickets offering benefits such as fast-track entry, saving queuing time at the door – ideal for families or in bad weather.

TicketCab have arrangements in place with major London attractions and commission is paid for every ticket generated through the devices.

All tickets print directly from the TicketCab handheld driver terminal which includes a Miura card reader and built-in ticket and receipt printer. The terminals are lightweight, mobile (4G connected via the provided SIM card), and take all types of payment including contactless and mobile wallet.

There is no tie-in plus TicketCab provide training, as well as the machines, till rolls, leaflets and seat-back advertising for those drivers who want it.

ECR – the company behind the initiative – are currently recruiting on ranks and around town. You can also get in touch through their website. Ticketcab.co.uk
