ECR Wins the Excellence in Technology Award at 18th Annual National Transport Awards

The ECR team is extremely pleased to be named as the first-place winner, in the Excellence in Technology category, for the 18th Annual National Transport Awards at the Westminster Park Plaza in London. We would like to extend our congratulations to JustPark, Predictive Availability for parking who were recognised as highly commended in the Excellence in Technology category.

The awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of individual national and local transport projects, as well as the collective efforts made by the transport industry to improve passenger experience and development of the nation’s transport infrastructure.

This year, the awards attracted over 600 transport professionals, and welcomed the Transport Secretary Chris Grayling MP who gave the keynote speech.   The event itself was hosted by Broadcaster and Presenter, Jeremy Vine, and many of the awards were sponsored by major players in the transport field, including National Express and Heathrow Airport.

“It was an impressive and very well attended event, which celebrated the great achievements of teams, individuals and companies that understand what customers in the transport sector need today and the future.  ECR Retail Systems is thrilled to have been recognised with an Excellence in Technology award win, which underlines the need for better technology in today’s transport industry,” said Simon Pont, CEO of ECR Retail Systems.

He continued: “Thank you to the judges for the admiration they expressed for our ECR Go2 solution, and indeed all the category winners.  At ECR, we pride ourselves on delivering for our clients, such as National Express, who worked hard with us to make this success attainable. I would like to say a big thank you to all our employees, and partners at ECR. Our accomplishments would not be possible without their hard work and dedication.”
